Transcom’s Founder Chairman, Mr. Latifur Rahman’s commitment to ethical business practices has made Bangladesh proud. He was honored with one of the most prestigious awards in the world, the Oslo Business for Peace Award in 2012 by the Business for Peace Foundation of Norway. This award, decided by a jury board consisting of Nobel Laureates, recognizes business leaders who have built trust, stability, and peace; the ultimate recognition for ethical business.

Mr. Latifur Rahman was a towering figure in the Business world of Bangladesh. He was born on the 28th August 1945 and passed away on the 1st July 2020, leaving behind a glorious legacy.

Faraaz Hossain exemplified courage when he was martyred on July 1, 2016. When let go by terrorists during the Holey Artisan Bakery attack in Dhaka, Faraaz refused to leave his friends behind, displaying exceptional strength of character in the final moments of his life, rising above all self-interest. He sacrificed his life for his friends exemplifying true friendship while standing steadfast against injustice. With his valiant sacrifice, Faraaz has left a message of unity cutting across every race, religion and nationality bound by love and harmony.

Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain was born on 15th April 1996 to mother Simeen Rahman. He was brought up in his motherland Bangladesh, always taught to embrace open-mindedness yet to always remain deeply rooted to his values.
